Residential Child Care Worker
Responsibilities & Duties:
Supervising clients individually as well as in group settings. Oversee daily schedules for clients including final preparation and serving of meals and snacks, supervise daily activities as well as observing behaviors, redirecting behaviors, and enforcing positive and/or appropriate behavior. Transport clients as required to appointments and activities. Contribute to the success of the clients by accurately tracking all client progress, ensuring proper documentation. The primary goal is to provide a therapeutic living environment for the children by providing supportive counseling, logical consequences, conflict resolution, crisis management and supervision of therapeutic recreational activities.

Licensed/Associate Mental Health Clinician
Responsibilities and Duties:
Must be a licensed, registered, or waivered mental health professional in the state of California. The Mental Health Clinician is in charge of the client’s treatment during the course of their placement at the STRTP. Assesses the child and family, develops the Mental Health Treatment Plan, and actively provides therapeutic interventions to the client and family. Assures that progress toward the child’s goals are maintained and revises the treatment plan as necessary. Participates in the CFT and coordinates the child’s discharge. Assists in supervising mental health program staff and provides direct services to children placed at the STRTP. Provides EPSDT Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services and serves children at each facility. Clinicians will provide special advocacy for children with special conditions or needs, including advocacy for LGBTQ+, Sexually Exploited Children and Native American children.
